After many years of keeping the same season structure, Colorado Parks and Wildlife has made some changes to the season dates. The Archery season runs September 2nd thru the 30th. This also puts the elk and deer season concurrent with the existing archery bear season. The new Rifle seasons are structured to give a break between first and second seasons which also pushes third season out another week. The third mule deer season should be great now that it is closer to the rut.
